高千穂峡 神話の宿

眞名井の滝の下でボートを漕ぐ体験は早朝一番がり必須の人気。11月〜2月の毎夜開催される「夜神楽」は1000年続く全夜神楽で33番の演目を朝まで演じる。日本神話の舞台・天岩戸と天照大神の伝説が今も生きる神秘の地。

Rowboats beneath Manai Falls sell out — reserve the first slot at dawn. November to February, 1,000-year-old yokagura all-night dance dramas perform all 33 acts until morning. This is where Amaterasu hid in the cave — Japanese mythology's birthplace, still alive.
